On the back roads of Tibet, your journey to base camp Mt. Everest will take you through the beautiful countryside and farm villages, where you will see and experience "first hand" the daily lives of these soft, gentile people.  We will stop along the way touring Tibet's most famous monasteries, ( Potala Palace, New Palace of Panchen, Sera , Palkhor, Tashilunpo, Sakya and the Rongbuk Monasteries) visiting directly with the monks that live within these beautiful structures.  Our journey will also take us to the most remote, beautiful mountains, streams and lakes, like the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake.
